ABIL, Versace Home join hands for South Mumbai project
Versace Home’s Donatella Versace will add her creative touch to the interior design of the residences
ABIL Group (Avinash Bhosale), the Pune-based real estate developer has joined hands with Versace Home to launch a new luxury residential high-rise, ABIL Mansion, on Hughes Road in south Mumbai.
South Mumbai, the main business area of India’s financial capital, is considered the richest urban district in India. Targeted at the elite as well as the rich expatriates and domestic HNIs, the project will be an all-duplex skyscraper, with interiors designed by Versace that would give residents a unique living experience. “The house’s artistic director, Donatella Versace, will add her creative touch to the interior design of the residences, creating bespoke interiors, which will match traditional craftsmanship with the innovative design of Versace today,” the company said in a statement.
The ten units of the project would be spaciously laid out with four or five bedrooms each, spread over 8,000 sq ft or more. Versace Home uses only the finest and most exclusive fabrics, designed in its world-famous style to complement the high-flying lives of its clientele, the company said.
Comprising nine ultra-exclusive duplexes and one simplex, the 32-storey skyscraper will consist of one apartment on every other floor. The first habitable floor begins at 100 feet above the ground. “The project will have an unobstructed and highly coveted view of the Queen’s Necklace and the Arabian Sea and is expected to be completed by 2019,” the company said.
The starting price of the apartments is Rs 53-55 crore. Real estate prices in south Mumbai are among the top ten worldwide. ABIL Mansion is spread across 11,421 sq ft of prime land. Renowned architect Hafeez Contractor will design the facade.
“Mumbai is a global megapolis and centre for investment, finance and opportunity. We are happy to bring one of the biggest names in luxury living to our country with ABIL Mansion,” said Amit Bhosale, managing director, ABIL Group.
“The project offers luxurious amenities such as a state-of-the-art double height Versace designed lobby, an infinity edge swimming pool, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, steam room, hot tub, rooftop garden, juice bar and massage/spa rooms situated on the 32nd floor, 366 feet above sea level,” he added.
The location allows an easy commute to any part of south Mumbai and access to north Mumbai via the sea link.
